The female reproductive system

This is a bit more complicated, as it has a more complex job. The female reproductive system makes egg cells, releases one a month, and prepares the uterus to receive a fertilized egg. If this happens, a pregnancy starts. If not, the egg and the lining of the uterus pass out of the vagina and the whole cycle begins again.
